The Mapei Sport Research Centre has started a new international collaboration with the Centro de Investigación en Alto Rendimiento Deportivo (CIARD) of the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (Spain), directed by Dr. Pedro E. Alcaraz.

This valuable collaboration between Mapei Sport and UCAM will allow the development of new research projects aimed at improving the performance of high-level athletes.

The work between Spain and Italy has already begun. In the last few days, Dr. Davide Ferioli, researcher at CIARD, has been a guest of our structure to carry out a study on the effect of force asymmetries on the performance of changes of direction in professional football players.
