Varese Sport Commission and Mapei together to enhance Sport Science Research

In the Olgiate Olona laboratories, young researchers are working to deepen studies and analyzes.

His name is Marco Martin and he is a young graduate in Sport Sciences at Busto Arsizio: he is the winner of the 2018 edition of the competition announced by the synergy between Mapei Sport and Varese Sport Commission, a project of the Chamber of Commerce. It will have the opportunity to carry out a period of analysis and experimentation within the Mapei Sport Research Center of Olgiate Olona, ​​one of the most relevant at international level among those dedicated to Sports Medicine.

All this thanks to a research grant worth 10thousand euros, made available by Mapei Spa, world leader company in the production of chemical materials for construction. The check bears the name of Professor Aldo Sassi, one of the leading exponents of physiology related to athletic training and fighter against doping, who died in 2010, and aims to train young researchers to the best by involving them in the activities of the Mapei Sport laboratories.

In particular, the theme of Marco Martin stage is placed in the Exercise Physiology area: “Relationship between workloads and physical performance of football players”.
