Neuromuscular fatigue test using a Mognoni eccentric press

By using a motorised press designed by Prof. Mognoni and developed by our laboratory, this test allows us to assess an athlete’s ability to sustain high levels of concentric and eccentric strength over time (specific muscular endurance). indeed, by using electrical stimulation of peripheral nerves, it is possible to calculate the muscle fatigue induced by the exercise carried out on the press by measuring lower body strength at rest and at work. The same assessment can be used to calculate strength modulation capacity during concentric and eccentric contractions.
